What is OCM?

While most organizations recognize the need for change in the face of evolving market conditions, most - over 70% of large transformation initiatives fail. Organizations recognize the need to change, they have the capital to fund change initiatives, and they have resources to design new systems, processes, and structures.  However, most organizations fail in the execution of change because they fail to address the most difficult part - the people.

All change is disruptive.  Applying a structured OCM approach can minimize this disruption and help your organization return to and even exceed pre-change productivity levels more quickly.  OCM speeds adoption of the change by:

  • Aligning leadership, management, and employees before, during, and after the change
  • Coaching leaders on effective sponsorship behaviors
  • Setting expectations before and during the change
  • Educating employees with the new skills, behaviors, and mindsets to succeed in the new environment
  • Aligning organizational infrastructure to support and sustain the change
  • By proactively addressing people issues, a strong OCM approach can help you achieve project objectives, stay on or ahead of schedule, and stay on or under budget.

We use a structured approach to address the human component of change.  Our methodology prepares people for change and readies them to adopt new processes, new organizational structures, and new technologies. We can help your organization by:
